MACY BILLINGSLEY
Hi, I’m Macy! I joined the JEA family as a model and never imagined it would lead to me also joining as a hair and makeup artist for the agency.
My interest in makeup started in my teenage years with special effects makeup. I loved the idea of getting to create through makeup and used whatever I could get my hands on, from makeup sets at Dollar Tree I used to create special effects to higher end makeup I spent all of my money on as I learned various makeup techniques online. Soon, I was flipping my family home’s home office into a complete makeup studio while I was still in high school. I began building clients, starting with students going to prom and then booking regular weddings. Over time I have expanded my experience into film and photography makeup. I love getting to collaborate with other creatives to create and accomplish a vision for a shoot. My favorite thing about makeup is it can be a tool to bring out someone’s already beautiful features but can also be used to create bold, striking looks!
