Get to know the girl behind the camera!
Q: What are your favorite things?
A: “Just to name a few (and this list will be random not in any specific
order): dogs, buttered noodles, true crime anything, NPR podcasts, home
decor, dogs, yoga, country music, blue jeans, my family, dancing,
Jesus, and dogs.”
Q. What is your most embarrassing moment?
A: “I need to provide some background before I move forward with this story; I was 12, and braces were the only thing you could really notice about my face at the time. I was insanely shy. By pure chance, a boy asked to hang out with me at school. I asked my parents if I could, they only agreed if he came over to our house and we stayed in the living room to watch a movie. SOLD. I invited him over and I’m sure the conversation was riveting (‘Hey! Cool Aeropostale polo. Soooo much geometry HW to do ugggh’). We ate pizza and were going to watch a movie. We sprawled our onto the floor with pillows from the couch but made sure not to be too close for my parents’ sake. At some point, I rolled over while laughing and my braces caught their grip on something. That’s right- the carpet. Stuck face down to the oriental carpet my parents probably got at Ashley’s Home Furniture. I was stuck so long that his parents had to come get him. That was the last time we talked.”
Q. Favorite quote?
A: “Just because your circumstances change doesn’t mean your standards have to.”
Q: Which brand would you love to model for?
A: “GAP! I love the colors and moods behind their campaigns. They showcase their models very naturally and have a good way of capturing movement. Such a classic brand. Plus, Jeans- who doesn’t love jeans?”
Q: What is the best thing about your hometown?
A: “I grew up in Helena, AL; at that time it was small and sweet. Now, it’s one of the top places to live in the state! Crazy going back and seeing how much it’s grown. My favorite thing about my town were my neighbors, Chase and Logan! I played with them day in and day out; so much that I didn’t even realize they were boys and I was a girl. Their mom even had a bunk for me at their house- I was just one of them! I miss riding bikes and going to the Chevron across the neighborhood to get Airheads and Coke Icees or a Grapico — but only Alabama folks know about that good-good.”
Q: What are three interesting facts about you?
A: “I’ve rollerbladed a marathon. I’ve Danced to Hanson’s “Mmmbop” with Dennis Rodman. I have worked in collegiate/professional sports for almost 6 years now!”
